Every experience is a content experience.
- Melinda Belcher, interview with Writer.com
From curriculum development to brand strategy, from sales enablement to customer support, from web design to product design, I've learned how to solve all kinds of problems through the strategic deployment of information.
A veteran of New York design and branding agencies, I've worked on many different types of projects with a wide range of corporate partners. Here are just a few of the organizations I have been lucky enough to work with, as well as a handful of key projects.
Co-creating a secure, global online checkout solution
My small, scrappy content team delivered the Mastercard MVP Click to Pay experience, as well as laid the cornerstones for customer centricity in product design development and scalability. This work included leading the development of cross-network guidelines with EMVCo partners, as well as product discovery and definition initiatives with global and regional stakeholders to ensure consistent, localized experiences.
Sales enablement tool development and localization strategy for IBM
I established new IBM Design Studio in Tokyo as part of a seed team sent to develop a new sales enablement tool for IBM Japan. I introduced new Studio members to Agile methodology, sourced a core content team, and acted as Interim Product Owner for the final portion of the project.
Game design and paper prototyping for UNICEF
One of the projects I’m most proud of is this award-winning UNICEF Emergency Response Simulation Game. I developed and tested a paper protoype of this two-hour, immersive experience designed to illustrate the challenges of humanitarian work.
Online magazine content creation and curation for GE's ecomagination.com
At frog design, I headed up the redesign of GE's ecomagination website, a daily briefing on global infrastructure and a sustainable economy touted as "content strategy at its best". I hired a stable of writers, influencers and illustrators, and created this handy style guide.
Static and dynamic messaging for AT&T's Global Network Operations Center
At Interbrand, I designed and brought to life AT&T's messaging strategy for their Global Network Operations Center in Bedminster, including interactive content and video.
Daisy Girl Scout curriculum and adult materials for the Girl Scouts of the USA
At the Girl Scouts of the USA National Headquarters, I developed the Daisy Girl Scout Flower Friends and corresponding curriculum, based on extensive research of existing Daisy Girl Scout programming and concept testing with focus groups.
